WHAT PEOLPE ARE SAYING
-
It has helped me to bring more compassion into my life...
…towards myself and to others. Also, during the day I find it easier to be in the present moment.
-
This course made me more aware of my breathing...
…and gave me solid techniques to use, like the 4/4/4/4 method and deep breathing with long exhales.
-
I feel like I am more open and compassionate with myself…
…as well as with others because I learned that when you are trauma-sensitive, many emotions and thoughts are in full force within yourself and can be a lot to deal with; thus you need openness and compassion more than ever.
-
Inward gave me...
…the ability to take small steps toward having a daily practice again.
-
Big fan of the 5-4-3-2-1
…but the suggestive, rather than commanding language is helpful in my coaching practice for visualization. Will be incorporating that, as opposed to more assertive 'commands’.
It’s helped me become more patient, leading to more compassion in my relationships, particularly professional ones.

Registered Trauma-Informed Naturotherapist
Angela boismenu
Hi, I’m Angela, a registered Naturotherapist and trauma-informed yoga and meditation teacher. I've dedicated my life to creating safe spaces for healing. My journey began with personal experiences of trauma, which led me to seek out effective, compassionate approaches to recovery. Over the years, I've immersed myself in extensive training and certifications to ensure that you receive the most supportive and informed guidance.
I've had the privilege of completing rigorous programs in Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry, which has deepened my understanding of trauma's impact and how to approach healing with empathy and care. Additionally, I've trained in acupressure massage, allowing me to integrate physical touch with emotional support. My yoga background includes over 1000 hours of training, focusing on Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation). These practices have taught me the importance of gentle, restorative approaches to healing.
Furthermore, I've studied extensively in both somatic therapy and sound therapy, recognizing the profound impact these modalities can have on emotional regulation and resilience. My commitment to ongoing education ensures that I stay updated on the latest trauma-informed practices, so you can trust that you're receiving the most current and effective techniques.
I've done this work so that you don't have to. My goal is to provide a safe, empowering environment where you can explore your own healing journey without feeling overwhelmed. Together, we'll navigate the path to resilience and peace, one breath at a time.
