My name is Angela, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My personal healing journey began after a severe back injury in the mid-90s, which left me with limited mobility and chronic pain. In my teens, I turned to drugs, alcohol, and other self-destructive behaviors as an attempt to numb both the physical and emotional turmoil I was experiencing. It wasn’t until my early 40s that I realized the deep pain I was still running from was rooted in the psychological wounds and neurobiological changes stemming from early childhood trauma.

Bessel van der Kolk was right—the body really does keep the score. What began as anxiety and dissociation eventually manifested as cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, plaque psoriasis, and arthritis. Living with complex PTSD, AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD traits), and a host of health challenges hasn’t been easy, but I’ve come a long way from that self-medicating twenty-something. I’m also grateful to be celebrating nearly a decade of sobriety. While the road ahead can still feel daunting, I know now that wholeness and happiness are possible—even if they take more work for those of us who have endured trauma.

Today, I’m a trauma-informed practitioner who integrates evidence-based mind-body approaches—including Compassionate Inquiry, multiple somatic therapy modalities (ISTP, SE, TYM*), acupressure massage, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound therapy—into my work with clients. Each of these methods supports emotional regulation, stress relief, and deeper self-awareness, creating a holistic framework for healing. My lived experiences shape my warm, collaborative approach, and I prioritize creating a safe, judgment-free environment where you can explore your inner world and build resilience.

I firmly believe that healing is a journey we walk together. I’m honored to offer you a space where your challenges are acknowledged, your strengths are celebrated, and your innate capacity for growth is supported. Whether you’re new to holistic healing or have tried other methods before, I’m here to walk alongside you on your path toward greater wellbeing.

Thank you for being here. I invite you to reach out if you’d like to learn more about my offerings or discuss how we might work together. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
